Michael F. FerreriPresident, Judge Consulting GroupMr. Michael F. Ferreri is the President of Judge Consulting Group, a subsidiary of The Judge Group. He joined Judge in 2008, bringing over 25 years of operational, IT consulting, technology services, and sales and marketing experience to the firm. His role is to lead and continue to grow the consulting practice with the principle focus of helping clients nationwide solve complex business technology challenges. Judge Consulting Group employs both full-time and contracted subject matter experts that specialize in the areas of Governance, Risk and Compliance along with solution development on the Microsoft technology platform.
Prior to joining Judge Consulting Group, Mr. Ferreri spent 16 years at Microsoft Corporation serving in a variety of senior level leadership roles including 8 years as Regional General Manager of one of Microsoft\'s largest North American subsidiaries. Earlier in his career he served as Project Manager for Microsoft\'s Consulting Services organization for the Eastern U.S. Mr. Ferreri has been broadly recognized for his work in building and leading large solution delivery and services teams. He has been a frequent conference speaker and author of numerous published articles on the impact of technology on business.
Additionally, he is a founding Board member and Vice Chairman of NPower PA, serves as Vice Chairman of the Board for Chester County Futures, sits on the Advisory Board at Temple University\'s Fox School of Business and is a member of the Villanova School of Business CIO Council. Mr. Fred V. Diers is the Director of the Governance, Risk, and Compliance practice for Judge Consulting Group. He has over 35 years of Records and Information Management experience for multi-national organizations as a practitioner and consultant. He has successfully implemented realistic and sustainable records management programs on a global scale for companies operating in over 80 countries addressing both electronic and paper documents and records. More recently he has worked with information technology and Corporate Law functions to develop e-discovery process solutions based on the Federal Courts\' revised rules of evidence.
A significant component of Mr. Diers\' expertise involves developing business rules pertaining to information life cycle including indexing, metadata, and retention standards. His methodology focuses on developing a balance between compliance and the organization use of its information resources.
News Corporation – As Records Management Program Director, created and issued enterprise records management policies and procedures setting standards for the creation, identification, and preservation of electronic and paper records. Developed a program implementation roadmap for subsidiary organizations to follow enabling the companies to apply program standards and install appropriate software/data repository software. Edward B. CarmodyDirector, Platforms, Applications & Collaboration SolutionsMr. Edward B. Carmody is the Director of the Platforms, Applications and Collaboration Solutions practice for Judge Consulting Group. He has over 25 years of experience in Manufacturing, B2B eCommerce, Business Process Reengineering and Application Delivery. International experience includes; solution delivery and B2B process automation for Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Transportation and Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Experience in leading ERP Integration initiatives, inter-company business process design leveraging SOA, Web Services and XML technologies.
Prior to joining Judge, Mr. Carmody managed the professional services team at Elemica , a chemical industry B2B exchange, founded by key industry players, BASF, Dow, DuPont, Shell, BP and others. His team led the industry in business process automation using XML messaging, supply chain and logistics management technologies. His leadership helped Elemica to grow from a start up to an organization with 1,400 customers, and millions of documents being sent through the B2B exchange. Gregory J. McGuinnessDirector, Business Intelligence PlatformMr. Gregory J. McGuinness is the Director of the Business Intelligence Platform practice for Judge Consulting Group. He has over 25 years of experience in Software Architecture, Design, and Development, Project Management, Technology Consulting, and Database Design, Integration, and Performance Improvement. He has consulted with Microsoft, Cigna, Unisys, ACE Limited, Aetna as well as leaders in the Finance and Insurance industry, State and Local Government, and several prestigious Ivy League Institutions.
Mr. McGuinness specializes in Business Intelligence Solutions. This covers everything from raw SQL Server development and performance improvement through Analysis Cube design and optimization and SharePoint, PerformancePoint, PowerPivot and Office integration. He is a recognized expert in Microsoft Business Intelligence technologies with a vast background on custom collaborative and data analysis systems.
Greg is a former Principal Consultant with Microsoft Consulting Services specializing in application and database development. Greg was honored as the Consultant of the Year in 1997 for work with the Office 97 product and was featured in the launch video. He has contributed to several Microsoft Solution Developer exams and was a contributor to the book Deploying Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 Notes from the Field (ISBN: 0735607265 Published: July, 1999)
Greg also worked as a Senior Architect specializing in the architecture and development of Actuary and Health Insurance related systems. He began his career working on several major Hospital Information Systems while in the Engineering, Research and Development, and Healthcare Information Data Exchange (HDX) groups.
Greg has a BA in Computer Science from LaSalle University and an MA in Computer and Information Science from Temple University. He is a certified Microsoft Professional and Trainer for Microsoft Solution Frameworks. He was one of the first 20 quad-certified Microsoft Certified Professionals in the world. David A. LawsonManager, Governance, Risk & ComplianceMr. David A. Lawson is a Manager of the Governance, Risk and Compliance Practice for Judge Consulting Group. He joined Judge in 2009 and formerly served 7 years as Director of the Risk Management and Compliance practice at Acumen Solutions, Inc, an international management and technology consulting firm. Mr. Lawson has 20 years experience in Security/GRC, Information Technology strategy, business operations and business development. Prior to Acumen, Mr. Lawson spent much of his career building niche consultancies, addressing critical business needs of large multinational corporations.
He has successfully helped companies with a number of IT problems including compliance automation, enterprise architecture and operations, enterprise lifecycle management, vendor management and IT Risk Management.
He has recently managed teams and been a subject matter expert at Pfizer, Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch, USAID, Dept of State, Census, GSK, and Comcast. He has also served JPMChase, Novartis, Becton-Dickenson, British Telecom, Alcatel-Lucent, British Aerospace, Fleet Bank/Bank of America, Sylvan Learning, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial, Discover, and Vertex Pharma.
Mr. Lawson is a member of the board of directors for the Delaware Children\'s Theatre, where he focuses on development and strategic planning. He is a graduate of University of Delaware with a degree in Political Science and a concentration in International Political Economics.
